Role Summary:
The Country Financial & Administrative Manager will be responsible for all support functions of the company. Furthermore, he/she will ensure administrative and financial management and oversee all non-productive and non-commercial aspects for two legal entities and three plants located in Casablanca, Agadir, and Tangier.
Your mission:
Accounting – Management Control – Reporting:
* Oversee all financial, accounting, and control operations.
* Monitor the preparation of financial statements and periodic reports in compliance with current legislation and Group guidelines.
* Validate account analyses.
* Ensure implementation of decisions (General Assembly and Board of Directors).
* Guarantee the reliability of company accounts in collaboration with external partners (advisors, auditors, statutory auditors, etc.).
* Supervise budget preparation and monitoring (justifying variances when necessary) in line with strategic objectives.
* Ensure compliance with legal and contractual deadlines for tax, accounting, social, and legal declarations.
* Enter data into the Group’s reporting software (Miras) and the ERP system (SAP).
* Coordinate with auditors.
Treasury:
* Validate cash flow budgets.
* Approve medium- and long-term loan contracts and short-term credit lines.
* Supervise daily cash inflows and outflows and monitor cash position against budgets.
* Periodically review bank account balances.
* Validate periodic bank reconciliation statements.
* Monitor and control customer collections.
* Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices.
* Maintain relationships with banks.
Information Systems:
* Act as the interface with the Group regarding the ERP system.
* Oversee activities related to system operation and administration.
* Ensure implementation of necessary backups and proper functioning of the archiving system.
Legal Affairs:
* Ensure proper corporate governance (minutes, notices, legal filings, etc.).
* Monitor ongoing litigation with external partners.
* Ensure legal security of all company acts and contracts.
* Review all contracts from a financial perspective.
Human Resources Management:
* Validate monthly payroll.
* Ensure timely payment of all social declarations and payroll-related taxes.
Procurement:
* Oversee insurance files and related correspondence.
* Ensure purchases comply with internal procedures.
* Implement a procedures manual.
* Ensure proper application of internal procedures.
* Produce required reports: Group or internal reports, executive committee reviews, cost comparisons, and any report requested by the General Manager.
* Manage board meetings, implement decisions, and handle related legal formalities in coordination with the General Manager.
Your profile:
* Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance / Accounting or equivalent.
* Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a similar role, in a multinational environment.
* Skills:
* Strong expertise in finance, management control, accounting, and taxation.
* Proficiency in SAP & MIRAS, and office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Team and project management skills.
* Languages: French and English are mandatory.
