Job Purpose:
Manages and coordinates group-level accounting operations and financial consolidation activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. Acts as a key driver of standardization, process improvement, and compliance with IFRS and relevant regulatory frameworks. Provides strategic insight and leadership to strengthen financial integrity and support sustainable business growth across the organization.
Main Accountabilities:
* Oversees the consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across all regions.
* Ensures accuracy, consistency, and compliance in financial reporting by enforcing standardized accounting practices.
* Defines and enforces group accounting policies in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and applicable local regulations.
* Monitors regulatory changes and adjusts practices proactively.
* Coordinates month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities with regional teams.
* Validates financial submissions and resolves inconsistencies through structured reviews and analysis.
* Provides technical direction and leadership to local accounting departments.
* Ensures consistency in accounting treatment and drives harmonization of processes across entities.
* Leads audit preparations and serves as the main point of contact for auditors.
* Provides documentation, facilitates systems access, and ensures timely resolution of audit findings.
* Identifies areas for improvement in systems and workflows.Promotes automation, efficiency, and alignment with best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the accounting function.
* Reviews KPIs and defines continuous improvement plans of strategies, processes, procedures, and systems to meet company objectives.
* Complies with the Quality and EHS Systems requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or Law.
* Certification: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is a strong asset.
* Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in accounting roles, including experience in group or corporate accounting, preferably in an industrial or multinational context and/or Big 4 audit firms.
* Proven experience with IFRS, consolidation, international tax, transfer pricing, and audit management.
Language Skills
* English: Full professional proficiency (mandatory)
* Other languages (French, Spanish, or German) are a plus
