The Role
In this position, you will be responsible for the meticulous review of written material produced during the early stages of our research mandates. You will compare generated content against primary source documents, internal memoranda, and established corporate records to ensure absolute relevance and accuracy. The work requires a quiet focus and the ability to process long-form text without losing sight of the core argument. Your day-to-day work will involve:

• Reading and evaluating technical summaries to confirm they reflect the nuances of the original source material.

• Identifying logical inconsistencies or irrelevant claims within drafted text.

• Verifying that the vocabulary and tone align with the firm's formal, sparse style of communication.

• Annotating documents where the logic is circular or where assumptions remain unproven.

• Synthesizing findings into brief, clear updates for the firm's principals.

• Ensuring all references to corporate finance or institutional history are factually sound.

• Maintaining a high standard of scrutiny throughout the reading process to prevent superficial analysis from entering the final record.

What You Bring

This is an entry level role, well-suited for a recent graduate or a student in the humanities, law, or social sciences who has spent significant time engaged in rigorous reading and writing.
