We are recruiting for our client, a dynamic subsidiary of a leading Moroccan group, a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Our client is a fast-growing and innovative company, operating within a major Moroccan ecosystem recognized for its leadership across multiple sectors. This subsidiary is entering a phase of rapid expansion and organizational structuring, requiring a strong financial leader to steer its development, reinforce governance, and ensure sustainable growth.

Position Overview 🎯

As Chief Financial Officer, you will be based in Marrakech 🕌 (with the possibility of a hybrid working arrangement of max 2 days per week 💻🏡) and report directly to the CEO. You will also collaborate functionally with the group’s corporate support teams (finance, legal, compliance, HR).

This is a strategic leadership role that combines hands-on financial management with forward-looking strategic planning, ensuring the company is equipped to thrive in a dynamic and competitive environment. You will oversee all aspects of financial operations, drive performance management, and strengthen the efficiency of support functions.

Key Responsibilities 📌
* Lead all financial and accounting operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and external audits.
* Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s rapid growth and structuring ambitions.
* Establish robust management control systems to monitor performance and support decision-making.
* Manage treasury, liquidity, and risk to ensure financial stability and sustainability.
* Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, governance standards, and internal controls.
* Support business transformation by structuring and optimizing support functions (finance, HR, IT, administration).
* Partner with executive leadership to evaluate investment opportunities and long-term growth strategies.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and key external stakeholders.
* Lead and develop teams with agility and resilience, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications & Expérience 🎓
* A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
* At least 8–10 years of professional experience, including:
* 5+ years in a senior financial leadership role (CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent).
* Background in an international audit, accounting, or consulting firm is strongly preferred.
* Demonstrated track record in environments experiencing rapid growth, transformation, or restructuring.
* Solid expertise in management control, financial planning, and business support functions.
* Previous exposure to complex group structures or diversified sectors is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies ⭐
* Fluency in English (oral and written) is required; French is a plus.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to work with agility in fast-paced, evolving environments.
* Advanced knowledge of financial systems, ERP platforms, and digital tools.
* High level of strategic thinking combined with operational pragmatism.

Marrakech/Casablanca,

Full-time flexibility for 2 days hybrid work per week.
