What You’ll Do

As our Cargo Operations & Reservations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and expanding our Cargo Services activities in Morocco and the Benelux region. Reporting directly to the Cargo Operations Manager in Belgium, you will act as the central operational counterpart and the main point of contact for air cargo bookings across multiple airline partners.

You’ll work remotely for most of the week, combined with one dedicated collaboration day at our Casablanca office, where you will connect with colleagues from our Passenger division.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and process daily air cargo booking requests across multiple airline partners.

• Confirm bookings based on flight schedules, capacity availability, and airline-specific procedures.

• Optimize cargo capacity in line with airline agreements and commercial objectives.

• Coordinate closely with airline cargo departments, ground handlers, freight forwarders, and international agents.

• Provide customers with accurate information on rates, capacity, and shipment status.

• Handle booking amendments, cancellations, waitlists, and priority or time-critical shipments.

• Ensure full compliance with airline acceptance criteria, IATA Cargo regulations, Dangerous Goods requirements, and customs procedures.

• Identify improvements and contribute proactively to developing and optimizing new operational processes.

• Act as the key operational counterpart to the Cargo Operations Manager in Belgium.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Air Cargo, Cargo Reservations, GSSA operations, or Freight Forwarding.

• Solid hands-on experience with cargo reservation systems (e.g., CHAMP Cargospot, Cargospot Neo, SmartKargo, IBS iCargo, SkyChain) is strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of IATA Cargo regulations and Dangerous Goods handling.

• Fluency in English and French (both spoken and written); Arabic is a strong plus.

• Excellent communication skills in a commercial and customer-focused environment.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

• A proactive, independent, and solution-oriented mindset.

• Comfortable working remotely while staying closely aligned with an international team.

Schedule & Availability

• Work setup: 4 days remote, 1 mandatory collaboration day (Monday) in Casablanca for team connection.

• Operating schedule: Aligned with European business operations.

• Public Holidays: No working requirement on major Dutch/Belgian public holidays when regional operations and management are closed (e.g. New Year’s Day, Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Pentecost, Christmas).

• Flexibility included: 7 contractor days off per year, usable for personal planning or local holidays (e.g. Eid al-Fitr).
