Role Overview:
Context and Mission
As part of powertrain development and integration activities, the Emissions / Evaporative Calibration Engineer is responsible for defining, validating, and delivering robust calibrations that meet quality, cost, delivery, and performance requirements. The role covers gasoline engine emission control systems, including after-treatment components (catalyst, GPF) and evaporative emission systems (canister).
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver calibrations and technical reports within the emissions scope (catalyst, GPF, EVAP canister), in line with technical requirements and project delivery schedules.
* Plan, perform, and coordinate calibration activities on test benches and vehicles.
* Ensure consistency and technical coherence of calibrations with other powertrain specialties.
* Analyze test results and propose optimized technical trade-offs.
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of technical reference documentation for the specialty.
* Ensure efficient use and productivity of test and validation resources within the assigned scope.
Profile
Education
Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control systems, embedded systems, or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in emissions and/or EVAP calibration, or in powertrain calibration and development activities.
