Providence Federal Group is seeking a Business Development Team Lead to oversee strategic growth initiatives, identify new federal contracting opportunities, and guide our BD team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who wants to influence company direction and build lasting agency relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Lead BD planning, pipeline development, and strategic growth initiatives
• Identify, qualify, and research new government opportunities
• Manage and mentor BD team members
• Build relationships with federal agencies and industry partners
• Support capture and proposal activities
• Collaborate with leadership to set BD priorities and revenue targets
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• At least 1 year of experience in BD, sales, or federal contracting
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Familiarity with SAM.gov, GovWin, or similar platforms
• Highly motivated
