As we continue to expand our global operations, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our growing team in Rabat, Morocco.


Position Overview

The Business Development Specialist will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients and partners, qualifying leads, conducting market research, and supporting the company's growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with a U.S. government contractor and contribute to strategic growth initiatives across multiple industries and markets.


Key Responsibilities
* Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities and potential clients.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, subcontractors, and industry stakeholders.
* Generate and manage leads through various channels, including networking, outreach campaigns, and market research.
* Support proposal development efforts, including gathering information, coordinating with internal teams, and assisting with submission preparation.
* Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.
* Assist in developing and executing strategic business development plans.
* Attend networking events, conferences, trade shows, and industry meetings when required.
* Collaborate with recruiting, operations, proposal, and executive teams to support company growth objectives.
* Maintain accurate records of opportunities, client interactions, and pipeline activities.
* Prepare professional presentations, capability statements, and business development materials.
* Utilize AI-powered tools and technology solutions to improve research, lead generation, and business development processes.
* Support partnership development and subcontracting opportunities within the government contracting sector.


Required Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or a related field.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in Lead Qualification and lead generation activities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Excellent business-to-business (B2B) communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Strong IT proficiency and ability to quickly learn new software platforms and technologies.
* Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and their practical business applications.
* Basic understanding of Information Security principles and best practices.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and online collaboration tools.


Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with U.S. Government contracting, federal procurement, staffing, facility services, or professional services industries.
* Familiarity with proposal preparation, RFQ/RFP processes, and government contracting terminology.
* Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar systems.
* Experience conducting market research and strategic opportunity analysis.
* Understanding of federal agencies and government procurement processes is a plus.
