An global collateral and quality control organisation is hiring for a Business Development professional, responsible for their operations in Morocco. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships and expanding the group's market network in the region.

The role requires experience in inspections, certification and quality control sector. And an existing network in trade flows, supply chains, and exports and imports of raw agro commodies, minerals and petroleum commodities into Morocco

Job responsibilities:

* Business Development and Strategy:

* 1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue and market expansion.
2. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide the group's business strategies.
3. Develop proposals and pitch materials.
4. Recommend solutions for process gaps or growth opportunities. Stay current on industry trends and developments.

* Client Relationship Management

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
2. Represent the company at meetings, events, and forums.
3. Oversee the smooth onboarding of new clients and contracts.
4. Act as the primary contact for key accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention. Manage the resolution of client issues professionally and proactively

* Operational Involvement and Support

1. Streamline client due diligence and onboarding processes.
2. Align new business initiatives with operational capacity.
3. Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements. Support the optimization of internal processes for scalability.

Candidate requirements:

* A bachelor's degree in business management, marketing or a related field
* Experience in business development, sales or strategic partnerships (5+ years of experience)
* Experience in developing proposals, presenting to stakeholders, and managing client relationships
* Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytic tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities
* Experience with agricultural or petroleum commodity financing
* Experience with the inspections sector, trade flows, supply chains, and exports and imports in Morocco
* Fluency in English, French & Arabic
