Business Development Consultant
Location: Casablanca, Morocco
We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Consultant to support our market expansion in Morocco. The consultant will focus on developing business opportunities, building distributor relationships, identifying project opportunities, and supporting sales growth in the local market.
This role is suitable for candidates with strong local market knowledge and business development experience in the lighting, electrical, construction, or building materials industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and expand business opportunities in the Morocco market
* Identify and approach distributors, contractors, consultants, and project customers
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners and clients
* Conduct market research and provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback
* Support project follow-up and commercial negotiations
* Coordinate with the regional team regarding sales activities and market developments
* Attend client meetings, exhibitions, and industry events when required
* Prepare regular business development and activity reports
Requirements
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or channel development
* Experience in lighting, electrical products, construction materials, or related industries is preferred
* Good understanding of the Morocco market and local business environment
* Existing customer or distributor network is an advantage
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Fluent in English and French or Arabic
* Valid driving license
* Bachelor's Degree, Minimum 3 years in related field
