Job Overview

Business Data & Insights Specialist ( Power BI) role is part of Swissport Business Services in Casablanca, Morocco. The role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting Finance process performance data in Power BI to derive process optimization measures. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analytics & reporting tools (Power BI), and a keen understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs)

Job Responsibilities

Data Collection, Transformation & Quality Assurance

* Gather, clean, and transform business process data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Develop automated data validation and ETL processes to streamline data preparation.
* Utilize Power Query, DAX, and SQL to enhance data modeling and optimize report performance.
* Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies using statistical techniques.
* Ensure data integrity by implementing governance policies and best practices for structured data management.

Power BI Reporting & KPI Monitoring

* Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to track KPIs, SLAs, and business performance.
* Implement dynamic visualizations with drill-through and interactive capabilities for deeper insights.
* Automate data refreshes and performance monitoring to enable real-time reporting.
* Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
* Perform root cause analysis on performance fluctuations, leveraging historical data trends.

Advanced Dashboard Development & Insights

* Create intuitive, user-friendly Power BI dashboards tailored to business needs and stakeholder requirements.
* Optimize dashboard performance by refining data models and report structures.
* Ensure Power BI solutions align with business objectives, providing actionable insights to leadership.
* Continuously enhance dashboards based on user feedback and emerging best practices.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

* Work cross-functionally with business, IT, and data engineering teams to improve data availability and reporting pipelines.
* Educate stakeholders on Power BI best practices, empowering self-service analytics adoption.
* Lead process automation initiatives using Power Automate and other tools to reduce manual reporting efforts.
* Develop and maintain documentation for data models, reports, and performance tracking.
* Contribute to strategic decision-making by presenting clear, data-backed insights to leadership.

Qualifications and Competencies:

* Certificate of Secondary Education (minimum); Desirable: University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
* Education in Statistics and Reporting is a plus.
* +5 year's experience as a Performance Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, Power BI Developer or similar role.
* Proficient in Power BI and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel).
* Experience with SAP FI Accounting is preferred.
* Understanding of processes in Procurement, Accounts Payable, Billing, and Accounts Receivable is a plus.
* Experience working within Offshoring organization is an advantage.
* Good conceptual and analytical skills in the optimization of processes

* Self-starter who is performance and quality oriented
