Overview
The BI Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytics, automate reporting processes, and contribute to the development of scalable data solutions, also Credit Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Technology teams to deliver accurate, auditable, and scalable credit risk insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and validate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate findings clearly.
- Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and analytics solutions.
- Automate data processing, reporting, and output generation to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Transform, consolidate, and manage large, complex datasets from diverse sources.
- Develop and implement analytics enhancements for upstream and downstream data projects.
- Assess the impact of data source changes and design mitigation strategies to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze data architecture and contribute to improvements in data gathering and integration processes.
- Apply systematic problem-solving techniques to investigate and resolve data issues.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Intermediate proficiency in statistics and data analysis concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, SAS, and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong data analytics literacy with the ability to interpret and explain insights to non-technical audiences.
- Experience building and visualizing reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Google BigQuery, or MicroStrategy.
- Experience working within Agile frameworks.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.

- Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets across multiple business domains.
- Demonstrated ability to automate analytics workflows and improve reporting efficiency.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and reliability best practices.
