Autocad Designer

About the Role

M.Design is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our engineering team in Tangier.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing and editing execution plans for civil infrastructure and utility projects (gas, water, electricity, telecom). You know AutoCAD inside and out and have the precision and structure needed to deliver clean, error-free technical drawings.

You are someone who doesn’t accept “good enough” — quality and clarity come first in everything you design.

Responsibilities

* Create and edit detailed execution plans in AutoCAD
* Translate technical input into precise, buildable drawings
* Model underground utility networks and civil structures
* Review and improve existing drawings according to standards
* Automate repetitive tasks using AutoCAD scripting tools (LISP, VBA, etc.)
* Collaborate with engineers and project leads to align on design specs
* Ensure high accuracy in plans and consistent use of layers, styles, and references

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of experience working as an AutoCAD designer in civil or utility projects
* Advanced AutoCAD skills: blocks, xrefs, linetypes, layouts, annotation systems...
* Familiarity with AutoCAD scripting (AutoLISP, VBA, .NET) is a strong advantage
* Experience with gas, water, or power utility layouts is preferred
* Strong attention to detail and technical logic
* You deliver precision work — no shortcuts, no guesswork
* Effective communicator, able to work independently with limited supervision
* Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Arabic is a plus

Location & Work Setup

* Full-time, on-site position
* Office based in Tangier, Morocco
* Standard working hours: Monday to Friday
