Arabic Language specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Arabic Language Specialist with strong linguistic and cultural knowledge to support translation, localization, content development, and/or customer-facing tasks. The ideal candidate should possess native-level fluency in Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic and/or regional dialects), excellent English communication skills, and a solid background in language services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Translate and localize content from English to Arabic and vice versa while maintaining tone, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness.
* Review and proofread Arabic content across various formats (websites, mobile apps, marketing copy, documents, subtitles, e-learning modules, etc.).
* Ensure adherence to linguistic guidelines, including tone, terminology, grammar, and formatting.
* Collaborate with teams across localization, product, content, QA, or customer support.
* Perform linguistic quality assurance (LQA) and participate in functional testing of Arabic-localized content, UI, or software.
* Maintain consistency using translation memory tools, glossaries, and style guides.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

* Native or near-native fluency in Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic required; dialectal knowledge is a plus).
* Strong English communication skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Linguistics, Translation, Communication, or related field.
