About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our project centered around mapping solution development. This role involves collaborating on the design, development, and maintenance of APIs with a focus on efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java/Kotlin/Golang, AWS/GCP, and Elastic search.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs and backend services using Java, Kotlin, or Go, ensuring high performance and scalability.

* Contribute to the architecture and cloud deployment of applications on AWS or GCP, supporting automation and CI/CD best practices.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and deliver reliable, production-ready features.

* Participate in code reviews, debugging, and incident response to maintain system quality and uptime.

* Continuously explore new technologies and approaches to improve development processes and product performance.

* Prototype and test new features to validate ideas, improve user experience, and guide product direction through data-driven development.

* Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure system interoperability and alignment with broader technical strategies.

Our Ideal Candidate:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

* At least 4+ years of experience in software development, with significant expertise in API development.

* Strong technical proficiency with Java/Kotlin/Go and AWS/GCP.

* Good understanding of low-code development principles and practices.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently on complex tasks.

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
