Role Summary: The Ops Lead– Morocco is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational, supply chain, logistics, procurement, financial coordination, and compliance activities for the Biotech Morocco entity. The role ensures smooth daily operations, timely supply to customers, accurate documentation, and adherence to regulatory and corporate standards, while coordinating closely with Warehouse, Sales, Finance, Accounting firms, Vendors, and Global Headquarters.


Key Responsibilities:


A. Operations & Supply Chain Management

* Place purchase orders, monitor replenishments, and maintain optimal warehouse inventory levels.
* Coordinate closely with the warehouse team to ensure uninterrupted supply and timely dispatches.
* Manage day-to-day operational activities ensuring smooth functioning of the Morocco entity.


B. Import, Customs & Logistics

* Handle all customs clearance activities, import documentation, and interaction with regulatory/customs bodies.
* Manage inbound shipments, track international logistics, and ensure compliant import processes.
* Resolve logistics issues including delays, shortages, and product return cycles.


C. Sales Operations & Customer Coordination

* Coordinate with Sales teams on product availability, forecasts, and delivery timelines.
* Oversee customer supply fulfillment including invoicing, dispatch follow-ups, and delivery documentation.
* Manage customer collection activities by working with Sales, Finance, and customers directly.


D. Procurement & Vendor Management

* Manage vendor onboarding, qualification, and ongoing supplier relationships.
* Coordinate with HQ for vendor payments and ensure timely processing of supplier invoices.
* Maintain standardized procurement processes, ensuring consistency and quality of materials/services.


E. Finance Coordination & Accounting Support

* Share all operational and financial documentation with the accounting firm for accurate bookkeeping.
* Operatethe bank portal as a user, monitoring transactions and supporting vendor/customer payments.
* Support coordination of monthly closings, stock valuations, and financial reconciliations.


F. ERP, Technology & Reporting

* Ensure accurate usage of SAP for purchasing, inventory, and logistics transactions (minimum 3 years SAP exposure).
* Maintain data accuracy across ERP systems and provide required operational reports. 
* Support Quarterly Sales Forecasting and related reporting for demand planning.


G. Business Planning & Forecasting

* Prepare Annual Sales Plan, Purchase Plan, Expense Plan, and contribute to Annual Business Planning.
* Provide quarterly sales forecasts to the Operations team for global and regional planning.
* Monitor performance against plans and highlight risks or supply constraints proactively.


H. Regulatory & Compliance Support

* Participate in coordination of product registration activities with internal teams and authorities.
* Ensure compliance with import/export rules, documentation standards, and local regulatory requirements.
* Support audits and ensure readiness of all operational documentation.


Education requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields.
* MBA in Operations, Business, or Supply Chain is preferred.


Experience Requirements:

* Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics roles.
* Experience working in a multinational company with operations in Morocco (mandatory).
* Preferable experience in Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals.
* Minimum 3 years of SAP hands-on experience in operations, logistics, or procurement modules.


Functional skills:

* Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, inventory, and customs processes.
* Proficiency in SAP and MS Office; experience with ERP/CRM tools.
* Ability to manage financial documentation, vendor payments, and coordination with accounting partners.


Behavioral & Leadership Skills:

* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
* High accountability, discipline, and attention to detail in compliance-heavy environments.
