ABOUT THE ROLE:

HR Programs & Employee relations support will take care of HRIS and HR programs/projects related to legal, social requests, HR Data & reporting, human rights & compliance aspects

YOUR TASKS:

HR Programs/Systems

* Plan and administer various human resource programs.
* Research, analyze data and prepare reports on HR trends, new social project suggestions and current program goals and progress.
* Develop, reviews and revises program policies and procedures.
* Provide advice to managers and staff on updating and interpreting programs.
* Represent the department with the board, related agencies and the public.
* Perform other related duties as assigned


Employee Relations Support

* Prepare communications and other reports to communicate information about employee concerns and comments and organizational actions taken.
* Attend conferences and meetings, as employee-management liaison, to facilitate communication between parties
* Participate to audits by providing data and action plans related to Employee relations (Human rights, Iso…)
* Ensures compliance with Employee relations standards and regulations based on country’s rules & DHL policies.
* Manage social cases & follow up.
* Manage relationship with Labour inspection.
* Manage relationship with union offices and lawyers.
* Elaborate a weekly report regarding Employee Relations
* Perform other related duties as assigned


Compliance aspects

* Develop, update internal company policies.
* Make sure the organization has a clearly defined program for complying with the country’s laws.
* Constantly report to management concerning the organization’s compliance with laws and regulations.
* Take action in dealing with noncompliance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome them.
* Conduct regular internal audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations.
* Communicate with employees and make sure everyone is aware of what they need to do to comply with internal and external laws and regulations.
* Elaborate a weekly report regarding compliance status
* Perform other duties as assigned.


YOUR PROFILE:

* Bac+3/4 degree preferably in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
* 3-5 years relevant HR experience/Employee relations


Skills

* Presentation skills
* Software skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Communication skills - spoken and written
* good understanding of country labor law
* Good management of relations with unions
* Technological aptitude
* Employee Relations
* Project management
* Good communication in French and intermediate In English
