Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist located in Casablanca-Settat, Morocco. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring a safe workplace by implementing and monitoring health and safety programs, carrying out risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental and safety regulations. Additional responsibilities include conducting safety training sessions, investigating incidents, and recommending corrective measures to prevent future occurrences. The role will also require collaboration with teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.

Qualifications

* Knowledge and experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
* Proficiency in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards
* Strong expertise in Workplace Safety and Safety Training implementation
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to promote a safety-first culture
* Ability to analyze risks and recommend preventative measures
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field
* Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are advantageous
* Familiarity with local health and safety regulations in Morocco is preferred
