Job Description
The College of Computing (cc.um6p.ma) at the University of Mohammed VI Polytechnic in Benguerir, Morocco, seeks candidates in the field of Bioinformatics/Computational Biology.
Successful Applicants Will Have The Join a Research Program In Bioinformatics And Have The Opportunity To Develop Their Own Research Track Withing The Bioinformatics Laboratory (bioinformatics.um6p.ma), Collaborate With Investigators Across Health And Agriculture Sciences, Teach Courses, And Mentor Students. Applicants Should Hold a Ph.D. In Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Or Related Fields. We Are Particularly Interested In Candidates With Experience In One Or More Of The Following Research Areas
* Computational Genomics and or metagenomics
* Integration of OMICs data
* Plant bioinformatics
* Medical bioinformatics
* Drug discovery

Qualifications
* Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computer science, or related fields
* Minimum of 2 years' postdoctoral research experience in bioinformatics or equivalent
* Track record of high-quality publications in ranked journals.
